Epilepsy Community Action Groups

All our group meetings are informal.  The format followed is one of discussion, sharing, and learning from each other.  Occasionally a guest with special skills is invited.  This might be a pharmacist, a physiotherapist, a community services worker, etc.

Although there is no formal Parent Support Group, anyone who needs help should contact the EANS office.

The Epilepsy Fun Club in HRM is a little different as it is a social/recreational club. See end of listing for description.

If you need further information on support options that are available in your area, you can contact EANS at 1-902-429-2633, toll free at 1-866-374-5377, or via e-mail.

EANS Epilepsy Fun Club

The Epilepsy Fun Club is a social/recreational club, run out of the EANS office, for adults with epilepsy and their friends.  Members fundraise to support their activities, such as group outings or parties for special occasions (e.g. Halloween, St. Valentine's Day).  Peer support is forth coming when needed.  The Fun Club has its own newsletter, The Fun Club Gazette, which chronicles the doings of the members and upcoming events.  For more information, contact Kelli, Karen, or Janice at 1-902-429-2633.
