Epilepsy is a common neurological condition that affects 1% to 2% of the population, at minimum 9,500 Nova Scotians. People with epilepsy often suffer more from the attitudes of those around them than from the seizures. The Epilepsy Association of Nova Scotia is working hard to change these attitudes. Your comments, questions and suggestions are welcomed. Understanding can make a difference and is the first step towards improving the lives of those living with epilepsy in our communities. Together, let us take up that challenge and start making a difference today! Let's bring epilepsy Out of the Shadows. | ||||
